Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is (1 John 3:2).
Sometimes, out of ignorance, and a seeming show of humility, some Christians pray to God saying: we're nothing in thy sight", or you'll hear we're but dung before thee." What a terrible act of self devaluation! The reason such folks talk like that is because of their ignorance of the scriptures! I would to God they knew just how special and precious they are before God!
In John 1:12, the Bible says: But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God." John said those who received Christ and believed on His name are born of God. So it's absolutely impossible for God to give birth to nonentities," dung," little ants," or unworthy servants" that some Christians unwittingly arrogate to themselves, because He reproduces
after His own kind.
If you're born again, you're the crown of God's creation, the best of all He's made, created in His image and likeness. You look exactly like Him. It's impossible for a dog to give birth to a monkey; neither can a cow beget a
human. In the same way, God only gives birth to His very kind, and all that is required for anyone to be God's child is to be born again.
The Lord Jesus has brought you into a relationship of sonship with the Father. Our opening scriptures says Now are we the sons of God..." (1 John 3:2). He has brought us into oneness with the Father. Not only did God make you His offspring, He's also put you in charge of the entire
creation to reign and rule over all things.
Refuse to think like those who believe it's pride to
call yourself a child of God. Be bold to declare that you're
God's special possession; His specially crafted masterpiece, called by His Name, and made in His image and likeness. Be conscious of your real personality, that you're a royal diadem, a peculiar treasure, a king and a priest of God, not a servant or a beggarbut a prince of power with God.|||Recommended: Visit Bryan's personal site http://christianity.fateback.com and New Christian website for more free useful gospel truth.
